Potton View residents celebrate National Poetry Day 2021!

Our residents at Potton View Care Home in Gamlingay celebrated National Poetry Day on October 4th 2021 with a very special creative session with Activities Coordinator Sharon Nickerson. 

They decided as a group they were going to create their own poem around the theme of living at Potton View, to show what makes it special and why it is our resident's home.  

They made the decision to design an acrostic poem - meaning each letter of each line had to correspond with the letters in the home's name 'Potton View'. 

We absolutely love seeing our residents being so creative and we think their poem is beautiful. 

A huge well done to our residents for this fantastic poem, and thank you to our amazing team within the home who always go above and beyond to celebrate these special occasions with our residents in a fun and unique way.
