Award wins for Black Swan in 2026 carehome.co.uk awards

We’re delighted once again to be celebrating success in the annual carehome.co.uk awards, celebrating recognition for our high-quality care.

The Black Swan Care Group has been recognised as one of the Top 20 Mid-Large Care Groups in the whole country.

The Gables in Chatteris and The Lodge in Walton-on-the-Naze are also individually recognised as two of the Top 20 care homes in the East of England, an incredible achievement as there are over 1,500 care homes in the area.

For The Gables, it’s an incredible 9 years in a row that they have won given this award.

The carehome.co.uk annual Care Home Awards 2026 recognises the Top 20 Care Home Groups in the UK according to their size and rewards care homes in each region based on reviews from residents and their family and friends.

Managing Director Tom Lyon spoke of his pride at the achievements:

And it’s also wonderful for the team at The Lodge to be recognised. There are over 1,500 care homes in the East of England, so to have 2 of our homes in the top 20 is truly outstanding.
