Black Swan Care Group’s Sport Relief Challenge: Are You Willing to Go the Extra Mile?

15/07/2022
Managing Director Tom Lyons and Operations Director Susan Webster showing their support for the cause by wearing our Move 22 fundraising t-shirts!

At Black Swan Care Group we’re asking our staff and residents to get involved in our awareness and fundraising campaign tying together Sport’s Relief 2022 and The Commonwealth Games!

We’re joining in with the 22 Miles fundraising challenge, which aims to see people around the globe raise money for a range of causes this Commonwealth Games including tackling inequality, improving mental health, and support young people to not only survive – but thrive.

We want to ensure that every staff member and resident has the option of taking part and that the event be fully accessible for every member of the Black Swan family. To make this event accessible for everyone – we are asking for each person who wishes to participate to do 100 actions!

Whether you would like to take one hundred steps, throw 100 beanbags, swing a pompom 100 times or make a group activity involving 100 actions throughout the home – we want to see all 20 of our services taking part.

We are delighted to be taking part in Sports Relief and cannot wait to see all the amazing things you do across the group to raise money and awareness for these amazing causes.

Please do your actions between the 28th July and 8th August and share your photographs, videos, and fun-filled activities by sending them to Photos@blackswan.co.uk

Please collect your donations on site and once everyone has completed their fundraising, Group Activities, and Events Manager Carol Paulsen-Yull will arrange the donations process.

We cant wait to see what you get up to – it’s game on!
