Beccles' Amanda shortlisted for national award

Amanda Jackson, manager at Beccles care home on St George’s Road in the town, has been shortlisted for the Inspirational Care Home Manager for the South and East of England at the Stars of Social Care Awards 2025.

The awards help to shine a light on the stars of social care, paying tribute to the workforce, who through dedication and a commitment to care, go above and beyond to support those who are most vulnerable.

The Inspirational Care Home Manager award recognises an outstanding manager who can demonstrate a commitment to supporting a highly motivated staff team to deliver quality, person centred care. A manager who goes above and beyond and who understands the overall business objectives of the organisation for whom they are employed.

Amanda’s dedication and guidance to the team at the care home has been recognised by the judges of the awards. In September 2024, she won the Inspirational Leadership Award at the Care Development East Suffolk Awards. Under her management, the home has thrived under the ownership of the Black Swan Care Group since November 2022.
